Starting with the assumption that core agile practices and processes are table stakes, this talk will explore where we go next. Instead of introducing the next process, the content of the talk is descriptive, derived from experiences and interviews with companies large and small who are are successful building product teams and communities engaged in using agile (and other methods) to learn about and validate customer needs and market fit. As responsive engineering is fundamental to being able to adapt to changing market conditions and new customer learning, it will be discussed with some cutting edge ideas explored. If you’ve been effectively (or not) using agile methods, please bring your ideas and experiences to discuss. The good, the bad, and the ugly will all be treated with equal appreciation.
